What is Keratin and how does it work?

DURATION OF KERATIN
The normal duration of treatment is 3 to 4 months following proper maintenance. Although there are cases that last 6 – 8 months. In summer, due to swimming in the sea and swimming pools, it usually lasts less (2 to 3 months).

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
To achieve a good result and duration of the keratin treatment does not depend only on a good product and a good application, it is equally important the maintenance during all its effect. As maintenance care, it is necessary to use a shampoo low in sulfates (salts) so as not to open the hair cuticle. It is also very important to condition and treat the hair with the right products for each type of hair. These products can be purchased at the salon once the treatment is completed.
For a better maintenance we recommend a ¨Bye Bye Frizz¨ treatment, between the 2nd and 3rd month after the treatment, it is an option to reactivate the initial effect of the keratin, so we get a longer duration.
